Completely original, certainly dramatic, with a floral motif on each link carried though the entirety including the multi level clasp, this Berlin Iron Bracelet c. 1820 is a singular treasure. This fine and impressive antique gold bracelet has been crafted in 18 karat yellow and rose gold. The bracelet is composed of fourteen square shaped links. An exceptional Georgian 20 karat gold round belcher link bracelet. Each link is chased with either star or forget me knot motifs. The scroll engraved padlock is set with five turquoise stones, set as a forget me knot, so significant as the plaited hair in the back of the locket reveals. A star-spangled barrel clasp completes this superb example of the Georgian art. A safety chain is fitted for security.
