About the Item

This is an absolutely stunning Victorian diamond pin pendant. This amazing piece has a nearly half carat center stone surrounded by ten all original Old Mine cut diamonds. The pin features a rose gold swirl design where the outer edge of the swirl encases five of the diamonds that comprise the border. At the intersections of each swirl, there is another diamond, thus creating a fantastic effect of an undulating circular border surrounded by arcs of gold. The use of negative space in this pin is exemplary for this time period! Any fabric will show through when worn, thus giving the pin an ever changing look depending on what fabric it is on. It also has a retractable bail, so you can wear it as a pendant also! Due to the fact that the diamonds are amazingly bright because of the Mine cuts, it would make an arresting pendant. The diamonds have a total weight of 2 carats and are G/H in color and VS2 in clarity. The pin pendant is tested and guaranteed 14 karat gold.
