On offer is this gorgeous 15CT SOLID GOLD ORDER OF THE GARTER ENAMEL DETAILED BAR BROOCH DETAILS Material: 15ct (625/000) Solid Thick Rosey Yellow Gold Style: Victorian classic brooch / pin featuring highly detailed coat of arms for the Order of the Garter, Motor Transport. Motto "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pence" is very clear and the detailing throughout is superb. Age: Late Victorian (c1900) Condition: Very Good for age. Fastening: Gold pin and saftey clasp. Hinge is good and clasp secure. Has loop for safety chain to be attached (available at extra cost) Hallmark: Old UK 15ct assayed and fully tested / guaranteed (see below) Origin: UK DIMENSIONS Length: 50.5mm Width: 24.3 mm Depth: 6.7 mm Weight: 6.2 grams total Other Info: Very striking, well made. The brooch originates from the UK. Brooches are very versatile - they can be worn as is or adapted into pendants, chokers or many other things. Imagination is the only restriction.
