About the Item
This absolutely gorgeous antique brooch was crafted during the Edwardian era from solid 18k yellow gold and platinum. It features an incredible circle of pearls and diamonds that alternate throughout its simple circular wreath design. The beautiful pearls are well matched in size at approximately 3.6-3.7mm each and have a nice white body color with golden overtones and excellent luster granting a super attractive look. From our educated opinion these pearls appear to be natural. They are wonderfully complemented by the old European cut diamonds that are neatly prong set in platinum baskets throughout, displaying tremendous amount of brilliance and fire for a truly glamorous look, with each stone showing a nice large size, totaling approximately 1.50 carats. You must see this piece in person to fully appreciate just how stunning these stones are! This gorgeous antique piece secures with a pin and rotating closure ensuring safe wear, and remains in excellent condition.
