A stunning, fine and impressive Victorian 0.37 carat turquoise and 0.06 carat garnet, 14 karat yellow gold brooch in the form of a snake; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive Victorian brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a snake, twisted and entwined around itself. The head of the snake features a textured finish, ornamented with a vertical row of five collet set turquoise. A further five graduated collet set turquoise accent the snake's mouth, totalling 0.37ct. The head of the snake is further embellished with two collet set cabochon cut garnets, representing the serpent's eyes. The interlacing body of the snake is plain and unembellished. The brooch secures to the reverse with a yellow gold hinged pin and safety clasp. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with an 18k yellow gold setting. The pierced decorated brooch has been crafted in a diamond shape. The 18k yellow gold setting is ornamented with sixteen fine and impressive garnet beads. Each of the garnet beads is embellished to the center with an impressive seed pearl, set in yellow gold. The lower portion of the antique brooch is ornamented with four articulating garnets, alternated with three articulating natural pearls. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hallmarked hinged pin and clasp. The antique brooch is hallmarked to the pin with the French hallmark for 18ct gold (eagle's head). A fine and impressive 1.28 carat diamond, pearl and garnet, 15 karat yellow gold brooch in the form of a hornet; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This impressive antique pearl brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold in the form of a hornet. Two of the hornet's wings are ornamented with elongated dutch cut diamonds. The head and thorax are also ornamented with round dutch cut diamonds. The head of this fine brooch is also embellished with two cabochon cut garnet eyes. Completing the hornet is a baroque pearl abdomen, two realistically decorated wings and six realistically modelled legs.
