About the Item
An Art Deco paste fob watch. An unsigned beauty. During the 1920s & 30s Art Deco style reigned supreme. The bold new designs flowed though to fashion introducing streamlined, geometric designs that relied on ornamentation for the ultimate touch of prestige and glamour. A dramatic break away from the style of the Edwardian era. Jewelled dress clips, hair ornaments, buttons, cocktail bracelets, fob watches and long, dramatic necklaces were en vogue. Art Deco style has transcended the decades and now a century with elegance. As relevant today as it was then. Art Deco jewels are a cherished possession and style statement forever more.
Vintage Condition: Good overall working condition. At around 100 years old, there is age-appropriate change in this piece. There is some darkening of some paste stones, some loss of rhodium plate. Overall, this remains a very good looking and working piece of original Art Deco jewellery. Please review the photos carefully.
