The brooch has been modelled in the form of a dragonfly. The pierced decorated, paired wings are each embellished with twelve pavé set Dutch cut diamonds of various sizes. The thorax of the dragonfly is ornamented with a 4.5mm natural pearl and a larger collet set Dutch cut diamond, the attached segmented abdomen is collet set with a further six graduated Dutch cut diamonds.
