An exceptional, fine and impressive antique hot enamel and 15 karat yellow gold Indian chief tie pin; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique pin brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a Native American chief's face and headdress. The details of the face and headdress are represented by impressive hand painted hot enamel decoration in red, blue, white and brown. The pin is plain and unembellished, securing to the reverse. This antique Indian chief tie pin has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 karat gold. The exceptional tie pin is the finest example of its type you could hope to acquire. Condition This impressive antique Indian chief tie pin is exceptional quality. The shaped terminal setting incorporates her curled hair held within an impressive Art Nouveau period forehead headband, enhanced with swags and feather protrusions, all crafted in 14k yellow gold. The woman's headband is ornamented with three impressive Old European round cut diamonds, alternating with three round faceted cut peridots, completing the exceptional Art Nouveau design. This impressive antique pin brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the 14k gold fineness mark and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 and 9 karat gold.
