Antique Heart shaped Amethyst Brooch with Diamond, Edwardian, circa 1910
About the Item
Antique heart shaped, buff-topped natural amethysts are suspended from a platinum and rose cut diamond garland. The natural 3 amethysts are prong set in 18k yellow gold. The platinum and diamond garland is well done exhibiting fine early 20th century craftsmanship. The 89 rose cut white diamonds weigh .60 cts. This brooch is 3.25 inches long. There are over 10 cts. of fine amethysts, the brooch weighs 13.5 grams. The platinum clasp is original and well made. All items sold are accompanied by a detailed appraisal by our gemologist, as well as all original GIA certificates, if specified in listing. As always, we guarantee all of pieces, forever.
