Antique Pavé Set Sapphire Pineapple Brooch - France - Late 19th Century
About the Item
Rare and impressive antique pavé set Sapphire convex pineapple brooch - featuring a cascade of old oval and round cut prong set sapphires (approx. 10.48 total carat weight - 143 sapphire count - the majority being 2.0 mm in diameter) - hand made silver setting - original tube hinge and double pin to the back with extra safety hook to the bottom - indistinct hallmarks to the edge (as photographed) - France - late 19th century.
Excellent antique condition - no loss - no damage - no restoration - tarnishing of the silver - signs of age and use - ready to wear.
