A magnificent, fine and impressive antique 0.03 carat sapphire and 20 carat yellow gold dog brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewelry collections.
This magnificent, fine and impressive dog brooch has been crafted in 20 ct yellow gold.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a canine, reflecting the characteristics of a shepherd dog.
This antique brooch is accented with two collet set cabochon cut sapphires representing the dog's eyes, totalling 0.03ct.
The brooch is further ornamented with a textured finish, replicating the detains of the dog's fur coat.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
This antique dog brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 20 carat gold; this high carat weight indicates the fine quality of the piece.
