The pierced decorated frame is embellished with a feature 5.95 carat heart shaped cabochon cut opal, 18 ct yellow gold claw set to the centre of the design. The opal is surrounded by thirteen Dutch cut diamonds, individually collet set within an interlacing border. The heart shaped platinum setting is embellished with a Marquess coronet design incorporating ten further collet set Dutch cut diamonds.     For sale a rare arrow brooch dated from the 19th century, the Victorian era. This brooch features a stunning yellowish-gray cat-eye chrysoberyl cabochon in the center: a precious phenomenon gemstone that displays a line in the center of the stone when exposed to light. The cat-eye measures 10mm in height and 7mm in width. The cabochon is framed with a circle of white seed pearls, as well as the tail and the point of the arrow. The brooch is mounted in 18K yellow gold and it is stamped with the French owl hallmark for 18K gold.
