Antique Victorian Coral and Gold Fruit Carved Brooch
About the Item
This antique fruit-carved coral brooch is absolutely gorgeous. The coral is so gracefully detailed with a very shapely pear surrounded by her vibrant leaves. The leaf veins are subtly visible, the leaves are so delicate you almost want to touch them because they seem so soft and real. The pear even has the flower remains ended up on the bottom during the pear's growth. At the back, the coral leaves are attached to 14 karat yellow gold branches. The brooch is fastened with a c-clasp. This extraordinary jewel dates from the Victorian era.
The brooch is in very good condition, due to its age the piece has some minor tiny chips. Due to the artificial light, the color of the coral may differ slightly from natural daylight. The brooch measures 4.8 by 6.4 centimeters and weighs 36 grams.
The brooch will be beautifully gift-wrapped in a black and gold Heztia presentation box.
