A fine and impressive antique 0.30 carat ruby and 0.18 carat diamond, 9 karat yellow gold pin brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collection. This impressive ruby pin has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with silver settings. The brooch setting has been modelled in the form of a horseshoe displaying twelve yellow gold channel set square cut rubies, totalling 0.30 carat. The horseshoe setting is further accented by a nine Old European cut diamonds, silver pavé set in three clusters of three in alternation with the rubies, totalling 0.18 carat. A fine and impressive 0.13 carat diamond, 0.02 carat ruby and enamel, 14k yellow gold and silver set cockerel bar brooch; part of our diverse bird brooches collection. This fine and impressive antique bar brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a silver setting. The bar style brooch is ornamented to the centre with a silver set design modelled in the form of a crowing cockerel. The cockerel is embellished with twenty-five pavé set diamonds, in a combination of mine and Dutch cuts. The bird's eye is represented with a single pavé set 0.02ct cabochon cut ruby. The wattle and comb of the cockerel are embellished with impressive red hot enamel decoration. The brooch secures with a hinged pin and sheath style fastening. This antique bird brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14k gold and silver.
