This exceptional, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 20k yellow gold. The brooch has a tiered elliptical form, ornamented with a black onyx panel set in relief to the centre. The onyx panel is ornamented with a central eight-point star motif, embellished with fourteen impressive seed pearls. The outer portion of the brooch is ornamented with impressive black enamel and bears elucidating wording 'In Memory Of'. The elliptical enamel decoration is flanked with rope twist decorated borders. This fine and impressive unusual Victorian brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold with 15ct white gold settings. The gate style brooch is ornamented with four individually 15ct white gold collet set Dutch cut diamonds at each of the four crossbars, totalling 0.04ct. The brooch is embellished with a 15ct yellow gold trellis design to the centre, accented with an applied hot enamel motif depicting two pink roses with foliage to either side.
