Victorian Yellow Gold Mourning Brooch Pendant. Created around 1849.
The Victorian epoch is well known for its great attention to mourning. This pendant brooch is a perfect example. It contains a hair of a beloved one a special dedication message and a delicate yet so fine Victorian style with black enamel and deep Yellow Gold.
On the back of the brooch is a dedication with the date 04.25.1849, dimensions 4.5x3.5 cm, and the height of the pendant including loop 4.5 cm. The words "In Memory Of" create the border for this sweet mourning piece.
A true antique classic, its value will be sure to rise as time goes by. It is a perfect brooch both for a fine jewelry collection and to be worn for special occasions. It is a truly one-of-a-kind item well worth a fine jewelry collection.
