An impressive antique Victorian 0.67 carat ruby and 0.27 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and platinum set bar brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive Victorian ruby brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with platinum settings. The bar brooch has a twisted helix design to the center, ornamented with thirteen 18k yellow gold channel set square cut rubies and thirteen platinum pavé set eight-cut diamonds. The bar is embellished with a further fourteen platinum pavé set eight-cut diamonds. A flared drop suspends from the center of the design, accented with a bezel set kite cut ruby, and a further five pavé and bezel set eight-cut diamonds. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. This antique Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold and platinum. The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
