An Art Deco Diamond Brooch By Leon Hatot

An Art Deco diamond brooch by Leon Hatot, the semi-cylindrical shaped brooch set to the centre with an octagonal-cut diamond estimated to weigh 1 .2 carats with two sets of trillion-cut diamonds on either side, all to a pave-set panel with four trillion-cut diamonds one set on each corner, on the two sides with two rows of diamonds, the one set with baguette-cut diamonds and the other set with old-cut diamonds the other two sides and bullet-shaped finials set with carré, old European, emerald and trillion-cut diamonds, the small diamonds estimated to weigh a further total of 6 carats, all set to a platinum openwork mount with hand-pierced gallery and white gold brooch fittings, bearing French platinum and gold marks and makers marks for Leon Hatot, circa 1930, measuring 5.7 x 1.9cm gross weight 14.1 grams.

This piece dazzles with its geometric design and sparkling diamonds. At its centre is a dazzling octagonal-cut diamond, flanked by two sets of trillion-cut diamonds. Surrounding them are rows of diamonds, all meticulously arranged for maximum brilliance. Adding to its charm are intricate a mix cut diamonds. Crafted with meticulous attention, the platinum mount features a delicate hand-pierced gallery work, enhancing the diamonds' brilliance.
