Art Nouveau Enamel Dragon Brooch 14k Gold
About the Item
This spectacular piece features a vibrant amethyst framed by two iridescent enamel dragons and accented by a baroque pearl and glistening diamond accent.
The piece measures 1 inch from top to bottom by 1.1 inches wide and is in very good condition with a small break on the reverse behind one of the heads and a slight bit of enamel loss on one wing.
It bears the maker's mark for Krementz & Co. on the clasp; however, the clasp was repaired or replaced at some point in the past.
The metal content of the brooch was verified using XRF (x ray analysis) and jeweler's acids.
