Arts & Crafts 8.80 Carats No Oil Emerald Diamond Pearl Platinum 18 Karat Brooch
About the Item
Designed as a platinum and yellow gold pierced foliate motif pendant centering two bezel set emeralds. One is trapezoid-shaped step cut, and the other is an emerald cut - weighing approximately 6.08 carats total. Transparent light bluish-green in color - natural Colombian in origin with no indications of treatment. Accented by old mine cut diamonds bezel set throughout - weighing approximately 2.72 carats total. Majoritively H/I color with one Fancy Light Brown in the center - SI clarity. Suspending one articulating baroque pearl measuring 5.0 x 6.5 mm. White in body color with moderate iridescence. Completed by hinged pinstem with locking closure. With hinged optional bale. Tested as platinum and 18 karat gold. Circa: 1910. Measures: 1 3/8 x 1 15/16 inches. Total weight: 13.7 grams. GIA Gemstone Report: 2223829291.
