Bauer Flower Basket Brooch
About the Item
Dorothy Bauer was known for her sculptural, whimsical jewelry designs incorporating Swarovski crystals, as exemplified by this brooch. She was active in Berkeley, CA, from 1982-2008. the brooch replicates a handled flower basket of clear crystals containing an array of flowers of varied forms and colors. The clasp is positioned on the handle, while a slim rod through the back of the pot, terminating in opaque beads, allows the handle to hinge and be displayed when not worn.
