This 18 karat gold Art Deco style brooch has a partly stair shaped pendant which is holding two square faceted cut rock crystals. The geometric lines, the clean-cuts, the modern design and the square faceted cut rock crystals of this brooch can be described as typical Wiwen Nilsson characteristics.

If you turn the clock link around you can see that each gold plate is stamped with several Swedish marks, for instance Wiwen Nilsson's responsibility mark (AN) and signature mark, the fine content mark and the year mark D9 (which tells us that the link was made 1954). The vintage watch was made by the Swiss company Sandoz that was established in the late 19th century. It has a mechanical clockwork and the rectangular bezel is made of gilded steel whereas the dial is made of enamel. You set the time by pulling out and turning the crown.
