Swiss Brooch Diamonds Platinum Yellow Gold Gubelin, 1950. Beautiful and elegant piece, created in Zurich Switzerland by the famous jewelry house of Gubelin during the post-war period, in the 1950es. Depicting a two-tone wheat spica. An ancient symbol of prosperity.
This stunning one-of-a-kind brooch has been crafted in solid .950/.999 platinum with a high polished finish. Suited at the reverse with an integrated hinged double stick pins bars to wear.
Once it was common to communicate a message via pin or brooch. Nowadays this art is lost, but we can surely start a new tradition. Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright published a fascinating book “Read My Pins” - a story and celebration of how one woman’s jewelry collection was used to make diplomatic history.
