Designed by the famed French designer Jean Vitau for Gemveto. Jean Vitau was a pioneer jewelry designer . He was known for patenting the Gemlok setting ,a secure and snag proof way of setting diamonds and colored stones.
This lovely little ladybug brooch is the perfect example using the expert setting techniques. The body is set with 2.56 carats of yellow sapphires, and 0.92 carats of blue sapphires. Black onyx is set as the head.
