About the Item

Edwardian Enameled four leaves clover pin created by Krementz & Co. Fabulous little beauty, created in America during the transition of the Edwardian and Art Nouveau period back in the 1900-1910. This beautiful pin brooch has been carefully crafted by Krementz in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with sattined finish. Embellished with enamel applications with green gradations. The enamel work is exceptional and meticulous, far exceeding the details of the fibers and veins of the clover leaves. The leaves and stem are accented with 28 graduated natural round white pearls of half mm or less and one in the joining center of 2 mm. A little jewel with exquisite and exceptional details. A universal symbol of good luck to carry with you wherever you go. Suited with a horizontal hinged pin bar and a hook to wear as a brooch. Has a total weight of 3.5 Grams and a measurements of 22 mm by 24 mm (0.86 x 0.95 Inches) Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark for Krementz and the gold assay hallmark, "K 14KT". Note: The hook is 14 karats, the rest of the piece is 18 karats gold, as usual for pieces from this period. Note: The Edwardian Jewelry Period was during the King Edward VII, after whom this period of jewelry history is named, reigned over England for only nine years, yet the style of jewelry known as “Edwardian” was created roughly between 1890 and 1920. Edwardian-era rings tend to be larger, opulent pieces, and stacked ring designs were popular. The metal surfaces of the rings were often diamond-encrusted for additional shimmer. Each of these rings is a work of art, showcasing a bygone era of grace, elegance and the royalty the Edwardian era is named for. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
