A French Art Deco crystal, diamond and onyx brooch by Chaumet, consisting of an octagonal-shaped frosted rock crystal frame, mounted between two finials of palmette design, with diamond-set scroll Mughal style decorations, accented by a line of cabochon-cut onyx, mounted in platinum and gold, bearing French assay marks and partial maker’s mark of Chaumet, circa 1925, measuring approximately 7.1 x 2.5cm, gross weight 19.3 grams. This brooch is in excellent condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum and 18ct gold. A wonderful Art Deco brooch made Chaumet.
