Micro Mosaic Gold Brooch

About

A beautifully made micro mosaic brooch in 18k yellow gold. The characters symbolize Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet, and Omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet, became a symbol for Christ due to His being called “the First and the Last.” Chi Rho is one of the earliest cruciform symbols used by Christians. Chi and Rho are the first two letters in the Greek spelling of the word Christ and so have come to be used for a number of Christian-related usages.
