Nettie Rosenstein Sterling Sword Brooch Mounted with Faux Pearls & Rhinestones. The elaborate hand guard has open work and mounted with rhinestones. The Quillon and backguard have twisted mounts, rhinestones and faux pearl ends. With locking pin closure. Nettie Rosenstein (1890 - March 13, 1980) was an American fashion designer, based in New York City between c.1913 and 1975. She was particularly renowned for her little black dresses and costume jewelry. She produced high quality costume jewelry from 1935-1975. Her jewelry pieces are elegantly finished with great attention to detail. Rosenstein discontinued the fashion part of her business in 1961, but her line of jewelry was kept alive by her partner and Coty Award Winner Sol Klein until 1975 when he also retired.
