Beautiful Austrian sterling silver brooch decorated with marcasites and silver squares, and featuring the initials ES. Measuring length 3.6cm / 1.4 inches by width 1.9cm / .75 inch, and depth 3.5mm / .14 inch. The hoopoe bird Austrian hallmark (see photo 8) means that the brooch is 935 silver and was assayed in Vienna.
