An art deco clip brooch designed by Wedderien. An exceptional piece from the American art deco period, created in the city of New York by the jewelers Wedderien, back in the 1928. This gorgeous piece has been crafted with a beautiful geometric pattern in solid platinum. Fitted with a hinged pin bar with a security lock and mounted with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones. This piece can be used as a brooch of course, as a pendant on a chain or as a holder for a pearl necklace. Diamonds: Mount with 22 round European cut diamonds, 0.55 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity. Sapphire: Mount in the center in four prongs, with a semi oval double cabochon cut (10 x 11 x 5.5 mm) of a natural Ceylon blue-gray star sapphire of 6.53 carats. This sapphire is semi translucent, not heated and display a great asterism.
