Red Tourmaline Religious Star Pendant Necklace in Eighteen Karat Yellow Gold
About the Item
The center of this 18 karat yellow gold contemporary brooch is oval red tourmaline, 8,14 carats, 6,5x12,9 mm. Side gems are oval morganites.
This item will be custom made with a new gem that is attached, as a copy of the first star that was originally made for an icon (copy of saint Luce's Santa Maria Maggiore, Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore, Rome). The copy of the icon (author is Kateryna Hryshko) was exhibited for the first time in Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in 2023, and was painted between 2018 and 2021.
The star was designed by jewellery artist Polya Medvedeva, and belongs to the religious collection, as iconography jewellery. This is custom made piece, a copy of the original piece. Icon is not for sale within this listing.
The item is custom made available as a pendant necklace with shorter more safe rays.
