The brooch has been modelled in the form of the Royal Air Force cap badge; a central 'RAF' emblem mounted to an 18k yellow gold green hot enamel laurel wreath, flanked on either side by feathered wings and ornamented with the red hot enamel coronet to the upper border. The feathered wings and crown designs are embellished with ninety-four pave set eight-cut diamonds and the RAF emblem bears twenty-five pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp. This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 18 karat gold. This impressive diamond brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition This antique regimental brooch is excellent quality, set with hot enamel and very high colour graded diamonds displaying a fine white colour and brilliance.
