Riker Brothers Art Nouveau Ruby Diamond Guilloche Enamel 14 Karat Gold Brooch
About the Item
Brooch is designed as a stylized dragonfly with a stepped body and textured engraving throughout. Featuring wings with guilloche enamel - transparent medium to light blue ombrè over linear engraving. With flush set old European cut diamonds in back and ruby eyes. Diamonds weigh approximately 0.06 carat total - eye clean and bright. Rubies are purplish red in color with dark saturation. Completed by hinged pin stem with locking closure and looped bale.
Stamped 14k for 14 karat gold. With maker's mark for Riker Brothers. Circa: 1905. Measures: 1 3/8 x 1 11/16 inches. Total weight: 7.6 grams. Spectral. Buzzing. Friend.
