About the Item
Created during the accessory frenzy of the mid 1980's, Robert Lee Morris was creating up a storm of gold plated brass and silver jewelry for his collaborations with Donna Karan. This brooch is called the large Sax brooch, and is similar to the smaller "Body Pin" that was prominently featured in the historic Fall 1985 premiere show of Donna Karan. With one looping tail end of this "speeding: form, like a bubble through water, the design is dynamic dramatic and sensation. This is what today's fashion needs all over again, 38 years later.
