About the Item
A playful and exquisite hummingbird brooch that can also be used as a tie pin. It is both colourful and exquisitely crafted. The design gives a sense of movement, as though the hummingbird is turning in mid-air, frozen in time.
The breast and neck embellished with astounding blue sapphires, inspirational depth of colour. Remarkably red rubies adorn the wings and tail. The eyes also garnished as rubies seem alive. This adds to the life-like quality of the piece. The remaining areas of the body covered in old rose-cut diamonds. All the gems glistening and glimmering in the light. Working together.
