This contemporary Floral brooch from the Sakura collection is made of sterling silver and features a frosted cherry blossom crystal. The item was featured in Vogue UA magazine.
The brooch has a contemporary design and a romantic attitude. The frosted crystal flower is open for the light and looks exquisite. The Sakura flower is one of the most elegant shaped flowers with a rich citrus scent. The first pieces from the Sakura collection were designed in 2011 by oil painter Polya Medvedeva. The collection included a blossom brooch diptych with two twigs of Sakura flowers, where one twig was longer than the other. Each crystal flower is unique and handmade for the artist.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
