Sapphire and diamond Catherine wheel style brooch/ pendant
About the Item
Beautifully crafted 18kt white gold brooch of fine blue sapphires and brilliant cut white diamonds. The radiating spiral rays are grain set with brilliant cut sapphires in between.
The piece has a pin and roller catch. There is also an eye for a bail should you care to use this as a pendant. It would be especially pretty with a diamond set bail and hung from a thin white gold chain or more lavishly on a “diamonds by the yard” chain.
This is a truly beautiful jewel with high quality stones and workmanship seldom seen on today’s market. From an era when high jewelry was really exquisite.
