Here we have a large and unique vintage pendant or brooch that was crafted from solid 18k yellow gold. The pendant features a magnificent carved agate cameo of a man in a toga with short hair and matching beard. The carving is surrounded by a halo of 40 old round cut natural tsavorite garnets weighing an approximate total of 4.40 carats and displaying a remarkably vivid green color. The carving is also signed by its artist along the right-hand edge. This beautiful vintage piece can be worn as a pendant using the folding bail or as a brooch using the pin and secure bypass latch.
