Stunning 14Y Victorian Mediterranean Coral Pendant/Brooch
About the Item
Gorgeous 14k yellow gold and Mediterranean coral cameo convertible pendant/brooch. This antique piece features a lady with elaborate curly hair in right-facing quarter profile position. The bold vermillion color of the Mediterranean coral looks especially rich against the elegant yellow gold frame. The gold has acquired a natural patina over the years, but the integrity of the piece is still healthy. There is a bail that folds down behind the cameo frame when the piece is being worn as a brooch. At the top of the frame, there is a white seed pearl, which adds a bit of delicacy to the design. This beautiful piece would be a striking addition to any vintage/antique jewelry lover's collection.
