Victorian 0.45 Carat Diamond Horseshoe Stick Pin, circa 1880s
About the Item
A delicate horseshoe sparkles with diamonds in this Victorian stick pin brooch. Nine old cut diamonds are set into the horseshoe. They are 0.05 carat each, and are estimated as G in colour and VS to SI in clarity. The pin is made in 18 carat yellow gold, and would have been made entirely by hand, from the cutting of the diamonds to the metal working. This would make a lovely gift for any horse lover.
