The bar brooch is ornamented to the center with a feature design modelled in the form of a fox's head. The silver set fox head design is embellished with eighty-one fine and impressive pavé set Old Dutch cut diamonds. The fox's eyes are each represented with a fine and impressive bezel set cabochon ruby. The tongue and teeth of the fox have been crafted in white enamel; this rare feature indicates the high quality of the piece. The bar design is embellished with a further eighteen larger pavé set Old Dutch cut diamonds, terminating at the either end with a single fine and impressive seed pearl. The impressive antique brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
