Victorian 2.00 Total Carat Diamond Wing Pin
About the Item
An absolutely stunning diamond wing pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This spectacular piece is crafted in 15kt rose gold topped in sterling silver and forms the shape of a fabulous open winged motif with an ornate center. Incredible old Mine Cut diamonds adorn the entire piece, creating an overall total approximate carat weight of 2.00ctw. The bead and prong set diamonds vary slightly in size with the largest stones set in the center and the smaller stones lining both wings. The sparkling diamonds rest in an open back setting, allowing the light to pass through and catch each facet beautifully with every turn. The pin is slightly curved inward, providing a subtle 3-dimensional design, and the center features gorgeous curved wirework, creating delicate cutouts that add a lovely feminine touch. Finishing the design is a bar pin and secure clasp on the back, allowing this stunning piece to be fastened to a favorite garment. This unique diamond winged pin would look stunning worn day or night and would make any collection complete!
The pin measures slightly more than 2" wide, about 1 1/8" tall, and is approximately 1/2" thick.
