A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 5.95 carat opal and 0.35 carat diamond, platinum and 18 carat yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. his stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in platinum with an 18k yellow gold setting. The pierced decorated frame is embellished with a feature 5.95 carat heart shaped cabochon cut opal, 18 ct yellow gold claw set to the centre of the design. The opal is surrounded by thirteen Dutch cut diamonds, individually collet set within an interlacing border. The heart shaped platinum setting is embellished with a Marquess coronet design incorporating ten further collet set Dutch cut diamonds. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, crafted in 15 ct white gold. This stunning Victorian opal and diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum, 18 and 15 carat gold. This impressive antique heart brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 2.50 carat opal and 0.12 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold brooch - boxed; part of our diverse brooches collection This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. This fine brooch has a pierced decorated elliptical frame, displaying two floral motifs. The brooch is ornamented to the center with an impressive bezel set cabochon cut opal. This stunning central gemstone is flanked with flower motifs, each ornamented to the center with a claw set Old European cut diamond. Each diamond is encircled by six individually set cabochon cut opals, completing the cluster designs. The elliptical frame conjoining each floral cluster is embellished with two claw set round faceted cut rubies to the center of the arch. The Victorian bar brooch features an individual eight claw set round faceted cut ruby decorated terminal to either end. The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse. The brooch is fitted to an impressive hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
