A Victorian Essex Crystal spaniel dog stickpin 18 karat yellow gold.
This charming pin features a domed crystal with an exquisite collie dog scene. The white dog displays brown patches and wears a mahogany coloured collar. It stands on green foliage and there is a nice yellow ochre iridescent background. The animal has been carved into the back of a cabochon rock crystal and then painted in minute detail with fine paint brushes. When viewed from the front it seems to float in a three-dimensional trompe l'oeil effect, inside the crystal.

This 18 karat yellow gold mini purse is designed as an oval shape, featuring curved lines of relief to both sides, it is hinged and the the push piece clasp is set with a bezel set cabochon ruby to its centre.
The piece is finished with a black silk fringed tassle.

Victorian stickpin of a bearded collie or English sheepdog in Essex crystal and set in an 18K twisted rope border around its frame and a large 9K gold pin that measures 4.25 inches long including the pin.
