Victorian Sterling Silver-Mounted Slate Backed Scottish Agate Brooch

About the Item

Victorian, sterling silver (unmarked, but tested)-mounted Scottish agate, diamond - shaped brooch with slate back,Scotland, Ca. 1880's. Lovely pink and gray agates. Nicely etched sterling mount. @2 1/2" long x @@2" high. Has ring attached to mount so that it may also be worn as a pendant. Minor repair to slate backing (commensurate with age and use); otherwise in excellent condition.
