Vintage brooch in the shape of a swan made of clear Lucite and wooden wings 1940

I love this animal series from Staret Chicago, they are from my privat collecton. All bodies of the animals are presented with a large cut rhinestone. Worked om sterling silver. They date from the early 1940s USA. Very raare collector pieces, you can nearly no more find. Measurement: H 4,3 cm, W 6,3 cm, D 1,2 cm, the body rhinestone 2.3 x 1.8 cm, very good condition. A lovable brooch with 2 birds that take care of their treasure together! The parents of the birds sit on a branch and take care of their eggs. The bodies of the 2 birds are made of 2 polished rhinestones, the wings, head and tails and the leaves are enameled. The brooch is signed with a tiny star on the reverse side on the birds heaad.
