A stunning, fine and impressive vintage French 0.75 carat emerald and 0.11 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and platinum set 'frog' brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive frog vintage brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with platinum settings. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a frog with one hind leg outstretched. The eyes of the frog are each represented by an impressive platinum collet set Dutch cut diamond. The webbed front feet of the frog are ornamented with a total of eleven further pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The yellow gold body of the frog is embellished with seventeen impressive individually four claw set cabochon cut emeralds. The emerald brooch secures to the underside with a double hinged pin and push fit safety clasp. The impressive frog brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the foot with the French mark for 18k gold (eagle's head) and the French fineness mark for platinum (dog's head); the pin fastening is hallmarked with the French maker's mark (HOB). A stunning, fine and impressive 4.83 carat pink sapphire and 1.10 carat tourmaline, 1.36 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow and rose gold, platinum set brooch; part of our diverse vintage brooch collections. This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow and rose gold, with platinum settings. The vintage brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised bouquet, with a textured finish accenting the gold wrapping and floral designs. The feature cluster consists of thirteen individually claw set cabochon cut pink sapphires. This focal floral design features eight individually platinum claw set Old European round cut diamonds, in addition to six channel set baguette cut diamonds. The side of the setting is embellished with gold foliate designs accented with three individually claw set cabochon cut pink sapphires, accented with a single large cabochon cut pink tourmaline. The lower portion of the spray design features a platinum setting to the terminal of the brooch ornamented with thirteen pavé set diamonds in a combination of Old European round and eight-cut, accented with five individually set baguette cut diamonds splaying from the lower edge of the design. The 1940s brooch secures to the reverse with a double hinged pin fastening. This vintage gemstone brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold and platinum.
