Vintage MERRIN France 18K Articulating Diamond Flower Brooch Pin
About the Item
Vintage articulating mechanized flower brooch done in 18K by Merrin of France c. 960’s. Set with approximately 1.45cttw in G-I color Vs1-2 clarity round diamonds, this hard to find piece has a novel feature that allows you to slide the leaves up and down to open and close the petals of the flower. Occasionally available at auction but generally hoarded by collectors.
Dimensions/Weight:
Brooch measures 2.2” long and 1.1” in diameter when fully opened. Weighs 15g.
Condition:
All stones are secure and all hallmarks and stamps are present and legible.
