About the Item
Here we have an absolutely beautiful and bold vintage brooch or pendant crafted from solid 14k yellow gold featuring a detailed Victorian Revival style design with a large, oval cut, natural amethyst stone neatly bezel set at the center of a magnificent pearl and twisted wire work frame. This large center stone weighs approximately 30 carats and displays the most gorgeous deep purple color with incredible amount of shine due to its brilliant cuttings style, and is wonderfully complemented by the white color of the pearls that halo the stone. This outstanding piece is further detailed with lovely twisted wire and bead work throughout that adds a truly elegant touch to this bold piece. The back is equipped with a pin and rotating closure to wear as a brooch, as well as a swivel bail that allows it to be worn as a pendant from your favorite chain or necklace.
