About the Item
Beautiful, unusually large Art Deco cufflinks in solid 14K white gold with unpolished, oval-shaped lapis cabochons. The spool design was created in the Art Deco period and remains popular for its simplicity and ease of insertion and removal from the cuffs.
The lapis chosen for these cufflinks is especially beautiful - an intense blue, flecked with bits of pyrite that are accentuated by the cufflinks' white gold setting.
The four oval faces each measure 18.9mm by 13.9mm; together the cufflinks weigh just under 15 grams.
These classic and extremely versatile cufflinks can be worn for formal, business and casual occasions. The stones are firm in their settings, which show a light patina (faint scratches to the gold) - as is to be expected of century-old cufflinks.
